learnenglish is a free reading tool for English learners. Every few hours we curate world news, rewrite the stories in your language, and embed English vocabulary inside the text where it can be learned in context. The service is open to anyone — no account, no payment, no subscription.
Where the content comes from
Factual reporting comes from News14 and other news sources. The stories you see here are educational rewrites: we work to preserve the news value and the core facts, but the wording, the structure, and the editorial choices are ours. If you need the original text, please follow the source link on each article.
About AI-generated content
Article bodies, vocabulary selection, and reader comments are all generated by large language models. We work hard to keep quality high, but models can make factual mistakes, awkward translations, and inferences that aren't in the original. Please don't rely on this site alone for important decisions — when it matters, check the original source.
